Apricot Jam Recipe

4 lbs fresh apricots

Juice of 2 lemons

4 pounds of sugar

Wash apricots, cut in halves, and remove seeds.

Crack seed, remove kernels and add to apricots.

Add lemon juice and sugar to fruit and bring to a boil over low heat.

Boil 20 minutes, pour into sterilized jam jars and seal.

1 pound dried apricots

2 pounds green apples

Sugar

Wash apricots, cover with water, soak overnight.

In the morning, drain and add peeled and diced apples. Cover with cold water and cook in covered pot until soft.

Measure, equal amount sugar and cook until thick, stirring frequently.

Pour into sterilized jam jars and seal.
